Our 2026 event will kick off summer with a 10-day fun for all ages celebration June 12-21 2026. Signature events include a ticketed celebration in the park on June 12th followed up by our free Family Days in the Park on Sunday the 14th.

Support the night that makes it all happen!The Smokeshow Food Collective: Smokeshow is a chef-driven community food event in Oliver, BC that brings together fire cooking, local agriculture, beer, and community driven energy into one shared experience. This is not a traditional food festival. It is a curated gathering designed around the principles of good, clean, and fair food, with transparency in sourcing, and connection through shared meals and beverages. The food program is led by the Smokeshow Food Collective, an ever revolving stable of local food producers anchored by Oliver Eats Ltd. Black Sage Butcher is hosting its second charitable Cuts for a Cause Meat Draw downstairs at Firehall Brewery (6077 Main St, Oliver) on Monday, June 15.
This event is open to the public, bringing classic meat draw fun along with a 50/50 raffle, with proceeds supporting Oliver’s Venables Theatre!
Doors open at 5:30 pm, with the meat draw kicking off at 6 pm. There will be $500 worth of premium meat prizes to be won across three regular prize rounds, with four chances to win in each round, plus three bonus draws at the end.
Firehall Brewery will feature a Burger + Beer combo for $20, donating $5 from each combo to the Venables Theatre.

Join SOICs for a shared Potluck lunch in the Community Park Tuesday June 16 from 10:00-1:00pm. We are sharing our traditions and cultures while meeting new people and trying delicious food.
Please bring a plate/bowl and cutlery (some available while supplies last).

This fun disc golf social to celebrate the summer solstice will feature a "Match Play" format. Singles or doubles will play head-to-head each hole is worth one point. Win the hole, win the point. Players with the most points at the end of the round win and will move on to a final shootout. Golf followed by a burger and a beverage at the Firehall Brewery. Meet at the first tee by the clubhouse.

Come celebrate the longest day of the year with us! Youth ages 13-17 are invited to join in on the fun at the Oliver Pool from 7:16-9:15PM.
Free Admission.
The lifeguards will be hosting: Pool Games, Mocktails, Prizes, Karaoke, and Food.

Join Canadian Tire Oliver, the Junior Canucks program and Oliver& District Recreation on Saturday June 20th for a 4-on-4 Ball Hockey Tournament.
Register your team of 4 (3 players 1 goalie) in one of 4 age divisions: 6-9, 10-13, 14-17, 18+ Registration opens April 18th. $10.00/player. Entry includes a burger/hotdog, Volunteers will be on site grilling by donation for spectators until supplies last.
Helmets and Gloves are recommended.
All proceeds go to Jump Start - to help keep families active!

The Sunshine Festival is a celebration of the unique heritage, culture, people and places that make this community and geographic region so special. Festival Organizers strive to bring families together to experience, learn about and taste what makes Oliver special in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.
The festival kicks off on Friday, June 12 with the second annual “Smokeshow” food and beverage event hosted by the Firehall Brewery. This ticketed all-ages fundraiser for Oliver Family Days Features local chefs, a beverage garden and live entertainment.
Oliver Family Days takes place Sunday June 14th from 11:00am-9:00pm in Community Park, offering a full day of free family-friendly activities, exhibits and live entertainment. Sponsors are sought to support entertainment, production and high-quality programming.
Oliver & District Recreation strongly encourages and welcomes the development and promotion of other community events that would be offered in Oliver and RDOS Area “C” between June 12 - 21 to activate additional venues and a wider variety of activities all under the Oliver Sunshine Festival banner.
